Job Title 1: Research Secretary (RS) – 1 Vacancy
(Funded by Research Grants)
• The minimum duration is 6 months based on the performance. If the performance is good, the appointment will be continued, otherwise the appointment will be terminated at any time.
• Minimum requirement SPM
• Provide administrative support to the management of research group through conducting and organising administrative duties and research activities including receiving and handling information.

Job Title 2: Research Assistant (RA) – 2 Vacancies
(Funded by Research Grants)
• The minimum duration is 2 months based on the performance. If the performance is good, the appointment will be continued, otherwise the appointment will be terminated at any time.
• Minimum requirement SPM
• Also available for all undergraduate students from USM or other universities.

Job Title 3: Research Officer (RO) – 2 Vacancies
(Funded by Research Grants)
• The minimum duration is 6 months based on the performance. If the performance is good, the appointment will be continued, otherwise the appointment will be terminated at any time.
• Minimum requirement Degree with CGPA 2.50

Job Description:
Working under R&D environments in the areas of CAD/CAM & Engineering Design.

Job Requirements:
Individual/Student must be knowledgeable in Engineering Design and CAD/CAM areas as well as has minimum TWO combinations of excellent skill in:
• Computer Science Background
• CAD/CAM software
• CNC Machining / High Speed Machining
• Rapid Prototyping
• Tooling Design
• Manufacturing Technology
• Computer Programming (would be an advantage)
• Product Design & Development (would be an advantage)
• Engineering Background (Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering would be an advantage)
