How to Apply?
For postgraduate application, the PhD/MSc proposal should contain at least the following sections:
- Front page (including your name and supervisor name)
- Research background including a brief review of literature
- problem statement
- objective(s),
- scope of work (i.e. activities/work flow)
- list of equipment, facilities etc. required for the research.
- Methodology
- Research plan/schedule (Gantt chart & milestones)
- Significance of research
- References
You can start to prepare your PhD/MSc proposal (http://mechanical.eng.usm.my/index.php/ms/postgraduate/how-to-apply) and apply through Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) USM (http://www.ips.usm.my).
